Visit Khasti-Imon Square with the beautiful Barak-Khan Madrasa, the Tilla-Sheikh Mosque and the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum. Here you can take a look at the Koran, written by the third Caliph Osman (644 – 656). Next, visit the huge Chorsu Bazaar, whose oriental smells and spices will put you in the tales of 1001 nights. In the afternoon, continue your exploration in the modern part of the city and visit the Independence Square, Amir Timur Square. Transfer to airport for flight– Tashkent – Urgench . Upon arrival in Urgench, direct drive to Khiva (30 km). Arrival in Khiva. Overnight at hotel.
Khiva was the capital of the Khanate in the seventeenth century. It was one of the most major markets of Central Asia and prospered until the early twentieth century. Today the inner city, Itchan Kala, is a veritable outdoor museum open where you can admire the authenticity of monuments Kukhna Ark (the residence of the khans, sixteenth century), the Friday Mosque and minaret of the eleventh century, the madras of Islam Khodja (early twentieth century), etc. The city is surrounded by pink clay walls that give it the air of dating Middle Ages.

Today, we make a reasonably early departure for the long drive back towards the east. After the first hour, our road runs alongside the Oxus River, locally known as the Amu Darya. Turning away from the river, we cut through the striking landscape of the Kyzylkum Desert, stopping off for lunch at a roadside restaurant. Arrival and accommodation. Overnight at hotel.
Bukhara is a city of poetry and fairy tales. It is a city like a open-air museum, with 140 architectural monuments of antiquity. The preserved construction heritage of Bukhara is a strange combination of monuments from different eras. They visit the town of Samaniden Mausoleum, the Bolo House, the Ark, the Mosque and the Minaret of Kalon, the Ulugbek and Abdul- Aziz-Khan, dome bazaar and others. Overnight in Bukhara.
In the surroundings of Bukhara there are other places of interest not to be hidden. Your guide will introduce you to the secrets of the summer palace of the last Emir of Bukhara – Sitorai-Mohi-Khosa – and will show you the Mausoleum Choir Bakr and the Bakhauddin-Nakhshbandi Ensemble. We drive to Nurata in the morning. Nurata is a well-known place of pilgrimage, where you will visit the Chil Ustun Mosque and the ruins of the fortress of Alexander the Great. Then drive to the Aidarkul Lake, which will impress you with a length of 200 kilometers. In the afternoon we continue to Nurata Mountains. Here you get to know the rural life of the local people and to explore the landscape. Lodging and overnight in a very simple guesthouse in Sob.
After breakfast with local products, let us leave the village Sob gently on the valley, accompanied by our mule. A rocky and barren landscape is imposed on us, but scattered with colorful flowers at the roadside or on the hill. The contrast with the green valley Sob is obvious, but we go through from time to an oasis of cultures. We leave the main path along an edge to Fozilmon lake. Behind us the valley cut rock masses with impressive symmetry, while on the horizon the steppes of Kyzylkum desert mix with the shallow waters of Lake Aidarkul. The plateau is quite contrary to what we have seen: wide, grassy and slightly hilly and offers a place of pasture for the sheep in summer. Next we come to the lake Fozilmon where we set up camp nearby. The rest of the day at leisure to explore or rest the nearby mountains.

Lake Fozilmon – Shagal Valley (1350 m).
We leave the high plateau down towards a peaceful valley. Before us, the chain of Aktau (White Mountains). The flocks of sheep roam around us in the hills. The stone houses of the shepherds are for life in the summer in this beautiful and peaceful countryside. we can leave the pastures to reach a passage, where the landscape is essentially mineral. We follow a ridge with spectacular views on both sides. Passes through the plain south of Samarkand with mountain ranges and Tajik mountains, steppes north Kyzylkum and salty water of the lake Aidarkul. We put this migration as easy air before descending into the valley Shagal. We follow the small stream in front on the edge of dark slate pages before we set up camp for the night.

After breakfast we start walking the day with a steep ridge in places. It will be awake! The rising sun and shadows projected on the surrounding valleys provides a stark contrast earth. We will then not have to leave the main ridge line to the end of the day. Large and without any technical difficulties, allows us the rib, discover every side of the chain of Nurata. The view is exceptional and unique in this part of Uzbekistan. It's rare to come across a lonely and wild on this area. We make our way to the heights to the end before reaching the valley floor to rest. Like the previous night, the landscape is dry and barren, but the presence of a stream avoiding the need for our camp.

We slowly descend into the valley. This hike can be called "the 1,000 crossings" because we often cross the stream. Allow Towards between the blocks of slate and ravines, little oases of hawthorn and mulberry to take shade. If the weather permits, you can try the juicy berries for the branches. Arrival in the village Kizilbel we find our car on the street. Then we drive to Samarkand. Overnight at the hotel.

Capital of Tamerlan, the great city of ancient Sogdiana is located at the crossroads of the main trade routes from China, Siberia, Persia and the West. FD SS tour of Samarkand: Registan Square (meaning “sandy place”) became an official centre of Samarkand since Tamerlane the Great’s time. The Square is surrounded by the Ulugbek’s madrassah (1417-1420), the Sher-Dor madrassah (1619-1636), and Tilla-Kori madrassah (1646-1660); Mosque Bibi- Khanum (named in hohor of Timur’s eldest and favorite wife); Siab bazaar, a colorful main farmers’market; Necropolis Shakhi-Zinda and ensemble of mausoleums of the 11th-19th centuries (According to the legend, the ensemble was erected around the grave of Kussam, a son of Abbas and cousin of Mohammed); Gur-Emir Mausoleum (graves of Tamerlane and his descendants, 15c); Overnight at hotel.
Today we visit Shakhrisabs (former Kesh), the hometown of Tamerlan. Shakhrisabs was built as a large white palace ("Ak-Saray" XIV century). The remains of a series of unique mosaics make impression. Then visit Kok Gumbazi Mosque (15th century), Mausoleum Gumbazi Sayyidon and unforgettable Mosque of Hazrati Imam – a reminder of the splendid city. In the evening arrival in Samarkand.
