Day 1

Arrival Tashkent

Arrive in Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Meeting at airport. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Tashkent-Urgench – Khiva

Your first day in Uzbekistan can be devoted to the sights of the multi-faceted capital. Visit Khasti-Imon Square, the Tilla-Sheikh Mosque and the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum. Next, visit the huge Chorsu Bazaar. In the afternoon, exploration in the modern part of the city.
Transfer to airport for flight– Tashkent – Urgench. Upon arrival in Urgench, direct drive to Khiva (30 km). Arrival in Khiva. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3


Khiva is one of the most remarkable cities of Khorezm oasis. It was the capital of the Khanate and one of major markets of Central Asia. Today the inner city, Itchan Kala, is a veritable outdoor museum where you can admire the Kukhna Ark (the residence of the khans), the Friday Mosque and minaret of the eleventh century, the madras of Islam Khodja.
Visit to the workshops of craftsmen, doing the wood carvers, silk carpet weavers, pottery makers at work.

Day 4

Khiva – Bukhara

Today, we make a reasonably early departure for the long drive back towards the east. After the first hour, our road runs alongside the Oxus River, locally known as the Amu Darya. Turning away from the river, we cut through the striking landscape of the Kyzylkum Desert, stopping off for lunch at a roadside restaurant. Arrival and accommodation. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5


Sightseeing tour of Bukhara with visiting Samanids Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo Hauz Mosque, Ark Fortress, Minorai-Kalon and Poi-Kalon Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrassah, Toki-Zargaron, Kosh Madrassah (Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan), Magoki Attari Mosque, Lyabi Hause ansemble. A visit to three trading domes (covered bazaars). In XVI century, it was the center for trade of silk, jewelry and even for money exchange. Today tourists can also buy here different souvenirs of a wide range: from small souvenir magnets to the famous Bukhara carpets. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 6


In the surroundings of Bukhara there are other places of interest not to be hidden. Your guide will introduce you to the secrets of the summer palace of the last Emir of Bukhara – Sitorai-Mohi-Khosa – and will show you the Mausoleum Choir Bakr and the Bakhauddin-Nakhshbandi Ensemble. This grave is visited daily by pilgrims and gives you an insight into the living Islam. Finally, return to Bukhara. You can organize the rest of the day according to your wishes. Day 7

Bukhara – Nurata – Yangigazgan (150 km)

We drive to Nurata in the morning. Nurata is a well-known place of pilgrimage, where you will visit the Chil Ustun Mosque and the ruins of the fortress of Alexander the Great. The place is also famous for its Chashma source – it is holy with the fish floating in the water and the destination of many pilgrims. Lunch with the locals in Nurata. Continue to the desert, where we spend the night in yurt camps. In the evening the camel herd sing their own songs of nomads around the fire. Overnight stay in the yurt in Yangigasgan.

Day 8

Yangigazgan- Aidarkul Lake-Sentyap village

Drive to the picturesque Aidarkul Lake, which will impress you with a length of 200 kilometers. Here you can rest on the shore at a delicious picnic and have a little time to relax and dream. Accommodation and overnight in a very simple guesthouse in Sentyap at the foot of the Nurata mountain range.

Day 9


People have lived in Nurata mountains since the time of Alexander the Great. In a village, can watch birds, go hiking, horseback riding on donkeys, and participating in cooking the traditional food gives an excellent opportunity to testify the lives of local farmers. Hiking around the village in Nurata mountains. Drive to the village Ashraf. Overnight at the village of Ashraf.

Ashraf -Samarkand

Day 11

Samarkand – Rome in the Orient.

Capital of Tamerlan, the great city of ancient Sogdiana is located at the crossroads of the main trade routes from China, Siberia, Persia and the West. This step is to understand the power of the Khans dynasty. The Registan Square is surrounded by the Ulugbek’s madrassah, the Sher-Dor madrassah, and Tilla-Kori madrassah; Mosque Bibi- Khanum; Siab bazaar, a colorful main farmers’market; Necropolis Shakhi-Zinda and ensemble of mausoleums of the 11th-19th centuries; Gur-Emir Mausoleum; Overnight at hotel.

Day 12


Today we visit Shakhrisabs (former Kesh), the hometown of Tamerlan. Shakhrisabs was built as a large white palace (“Ak-Saray” XIV century). The remains of a series of unique mosaics make impression. Then visit Kok Gumbazi Mosque (15th century), Mausoleum Gumbazi Sayyidon and unforgettable Mosque of Hazrati Imam – a reminder of the splendid city. In the evening arrival in Samarkand. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13


Observatory of Ulugbek; A visit to the Silk Paper Center “Meros” to see the ancient process of paper making. Here at MEROS the artisans have revived this ancient tradition and reintroduced Samarkand Paper to the world.
Transfer to railway station for high-speed train “Afrosiab” Samarkand/Tashkent at 17h00/19h10.
Upon arrival transfer to hotel, accommodation.
Overnight at hotel

Day 14

Departure from Tashkent

Transfer to the airport in Taschkent. Here we say goodbye to the group. We will have unforgettable memories.
Flight home.
