During the tour, you will have a trip to Uzbekistan ancient cities: Khiva, Bukhara, Shakhrisabz, Samarkand and Tashkent, where you will enjoy an amazing beauty of architectural monuments of the antiquity and middle Ages, visit famous oriental bazaars and, of course, learn more about national Uzbek culture, traditions, and way of life coupled with a true oriental.

Day 1
Arrival Tashkent

Arrival in Tashkent. Your English-speaking tour guide will meet you. Transfer to the hotel, check-in .Time for discussion itinerary and other details with your guide.

Overnight in Tashkent

Day 2

Guided sightseeing tour of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. You will start with visiting old part of the city: Architectural complex Khast-Imam  where the world famous Quran, holy book of Caliph Usman has been preserved. The complex consists of Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheykh Mosque, Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Continue to visit the huge Chorsu Bazaar, whose oriental smells and spices will put you in the tales of 1001 Nights, stroll around Amir Timur Square and Independence Square. Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 3
Tashkent-Urgench – Khiva

In the morning, transfer to the airport and Flight to Urgench. Arrival in Urgench Airport. Transfer to Khiva (30 km). Hotel check in. Sightseeing tour in the old part of Khiva – Ichan Kala known as “Inner town”. Ichan Kala is the biggest open air museum in Central Asia and consists of the following architectural monuments:  Ata Darbaza (West Gate), Kunya Ark, Muhammad Rakhim-Khan Madrassa, Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassa, Kalta Minor Minaret, Jome Mosque and Minaret, Islam Khodja Madrassa and Minaret, Said Alauddin Mausoleum, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, the last Khiva Khan Allakulikhan’s Madrassa and Tosh Hovli Palace, Caravanserai and Tim Allakulikhan.

Free time. Overnight in Khiva.

Day 4
Khiva – Ayaz Kala – Khiva

Early morning free, then transfer to the desert to explore the old Khorezm, Ayaz Kala and its three imposing fortresses in ruins. Built in the 4th century BC, they dominate the surrounding steppes and served as military, viticulture and commercial bases in this region at the crossroads of trading routes. Also visit the fortresses of Toprak Kala (former capital of the state Khorezm) and Kizil Kala. Lunch in the yurt and in the late afternoon return to the oasis. Overnight in Khiva.

Day 5
Khiva – Bukhara

Transfer to Bukhara via the Kizil Kum desert. On the way stop to enjoy views of the desert and Amudarya River. Arrive in Bukhara late in the afternoon. Check in to the hotel.

Day 6


Sightseeing tour of Bukhara with visiting Samanids Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo Hauz Mosque, Ark Fortress, Minorai-Kalon and Poi-Kalon Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrassah, Toki-Zargaron, Kosh Madrassah (Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan), Magoki Attari Mosque, Lyabi Hause ansemble. A visit to three trading domes (covered bazaars). In XVI century, it was the center for trade of silk, jewelry and even for money exchange. Today tourists can also buy here different souvenirs of a wide range: from small souvenir magnets to the famous Bukhara carpets. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 7

Visit of the mausoleum Bahauddin Nakshbandiy, necropolis Chor-Bakr and Chor Minor. Free afternoon in Bukhara. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 8
Bukhara – Shakhrisabz – Samarkand


Drive to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz. Shakhrisabz is a home – town of Tamerlane and during our 2-hour sightseeing tour, you can enjoy the bright example of Central Asian architecture of XIV-XV centuries by visiting: The Ak-Saray Palace – used to be a huge and incredibly beautiful residence of Timur. There are only two pylons (entrance part of the palace) preserved up to this day. Darus Saodat Compldex with Hazrat Imam’s Mosque and Jekhangir’s Mausoleum. Darut Tilavat complex with Kok Gumbaz (Blue Domed) Mosque of Ulughbek, Gumbazi Saidon and Mausoleum of Sheykh Shamsuddin Kulol.Transfer to Samarkand. Arrival in Samarkand, check-in.

Day 9



Start sightseeing in Samarkand with a visit to the famous Registan Square – heart of Samarkand and real masterpiece of Central Asian medieval architecture, consists of three grandiose buildings: Ulughbek Madrassa, Madrassa Sherdor and Madrassa Tilla Kori. After Registan, you will visit Gur Emir Mausoleum – a burial vault of Timurids dynasty; Bibi Khanim Mosque – the biggest medieval building in the city; Shahi Zinda Necropolis – unique complex of Mausoleums.

 Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 10
Samarkand – Tepakul – Samarkand

In order to discover Uzbek daily life and rural life, we go to the village of Tepakul, about forty kilometers from Samarkand. We take the opportunity to discover the surroundings and take a 3-4 hour hiking in this part of the Zarafshan chain before having a lunch in a local house. Return to Samarkand in the afternoon. Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 11
Samarkand – Tashkent


Check out by 12:00 at noon.

In the morning, you will visit the old paper manufactory and the Ulugbek observatory, which is one of the most important astronomical centers in XV. Then visit to Samarkand local bazaar – Siyab market. You have free afternoon. In the evening, Transfer to railway station for high-speed train “Afrosiab” Samarkand-Tashkent at 17:00/19:10.

Upon arrival transfer to hotel, check in.

Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 12
Departure from Tashkent
Transfer to the airport in Taschkent. Here we say goodbye to the group. We will have unforgettable memories.
Flight home.
